Classification of Printer Ribbon

    c. Resin Ribbons: Resin ribbons are highly durable and designed for demanding applications where resistance to harsh environments, extreme temperatures, chemicals, and abrasion is required. They are used for printing on synthetic materials like polyester, polypropylene, or vinyl, often in applications such as asset labeling, chemical drum labels, and outdoor signage.

  3. Based on Printer Compatibility:Printer ribbons are also classified based on compatibility with specific printer models or brands. Manufacturers produce ribbons that are designed to work with specific printer models, ensuring optimal performance and print quality.
